Avery Willis, the creator of the renowned MasterLife descipleship program was a missionary in Indonesia. Before he left he found 1000 people who promised to pray for him daily. He had good success in Indonesia, and then went on to write MasterLife, a program that has blessed thousands of Christians in many countries.

Hi. I'm Debbie, and I'm a missionary in Japan. There is one enormous difference between Avery Willis and me, and that is the prayer factor. My husband and I came to Japan with our small daughter as tent makers. That means we were willing to work to support ourselves as we worked in the ministry rather than endure the long delay required to raise support in order to come as regular missionaries. There was one big problem with this method. Not many people were praying for us.

That was more than 20 years ago. Now, through a series of unforseen events and circumstances, I have been catapulted into a position of single mom and sole provider for my daughter, Elizabeth. This hasn't left much time for mission work, but I'm determined, with your prayer, to change that.

I'm asking the Lord for at least 100 people who will fight with me against satan's personal attacks, and the bondage he has imposed on the people I am working with. Will you join this army by agreeing to pray daily for me, and the ministry of Kurume Bible Church?
