If anyone was an enigma, Ms. Araki is. She must be about 60, as she is retiring this year. Never married, she is even now the sweetheart of the entire city. I seldom meet someone who has never heard of her.
She is the culture director for the local concert hall/culture center/art gallery. She's been coming to church on Sunday evening to study the Bible in English for more than 20 years, and has been to the US several times. She has never made a profession of faith, but urges others to attend church and study their Bible at every opportunity.
Pray that she will come forward with the faith we all know she holds dear in her heart, and become involved in our church fellowship.
